Warka is designed to minimize collection of personal data and to protect the privacy of users, listing owners, and institutional representatives. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Warka may collect basic usage data to improve search quality and platform performance, such as search terms, page views, device type, and general location signals (for example, region or city). If you create an account, we collect account identifiers such as phone number or email, and we may collect verification evidence for listing ownership.
Verification evidence is treated as sensitive and is stored securely with access controls. Warka does not publish sensitive documents publicly. Public profiles display only approved public fields such as office contacts, hours, and service information.
Users have rights over their personal data as defined by applicable laws and platform rules. Warka provides mechanisms to request access, correction, or deletion of account data, subject to legal and safety constraints.
Warka uses cookies and similar technologies on web experiences to provide essential functionality, improve performance, and understand how the platform is used. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are used and how you can manage them.
Essential cookies support core features such as login sessions, security protections, and language preferences. Analytics cookies help us measure performance and improve content – for example, understanding which pages load slowly or which search terms return poor results.
Warka does not use cookies to collect sensitive personal data, and does not sell personal data to third parties. Where advertising features exist, tracking is limited and clearly disclosed, and opt-in rules are applied for any non-essential tracking.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work correctly if you disable essential cookies.
Warka treats trust and security as foundational. The platform is designed with layered controls to protect data integrity, prevent unauthorized edits, and safeguard sensitive verification artifacts.
Access to listing management is protected by account controls and role-based permissions. Sensitive actions such as ownership transfers and identity changes require stronger review. Warka also maintains audit logs that track edits and administrative actions.
Data is stored and processed with security best practices appropriate to the risk level. This includes secure transmission, controlled administrative access, monitoring for suspicious activity, and backup and recovery procedures.
In the event of a security incident, Warka follows an incident response process: detect, contain, assess impact, notify where required, remediate, and publish a post-incident summary when appropriate.
The Acceptable Use Policy defines how users, listing owners, and partners may use Warka. The goal is to protect citizens, institutions, and the platform from abuse.
You must not submit false information, impersonate an institution, harass others, distribute harmful content, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated tools to overload the platform. You must also respect intellectual property rights and privacy.
For businesses and advertisers, the policy prohibits misleading claims, prohibited goods/services, and aggressive spam. For institutions, the policy requires that published service information is accurate and authorized.
Violations may result in content removal, account restrictions, or legal escalation depending on severity.
Warka respects intellectual property rights and expects users and listing owners to do the same. Content uploaded to Warka must be owned by the uploader or used with permission, including logos, photos, documents, and brand assets.
Listing owners grant Warka the right to display submitted content for the purpose of operating the directory across channels. This does not transfer ownership; it is a limited license to publish and distribute the content within Warka services.
If you believe content on Warka infringes your rights, you can submit a takedown request with evidence of ownership. Warka reviews claims promptly and may remove or restrict content while investigating.
Warka’s own software, branding, and platform content are protected. Unauthorized copying or resale of Warka content or services is prohibited.
