Required Documents

• National ID / Passport - A valid Ethiopian National ID or passport of the business owner or authorized representative. The document must be clear and unexpired.
• Tax Identification Number (TIN) Certificate - Official TIN certificate issued by the Ethiopian Revenue and Customs Authority confirming the applicant’s tax registration.
• Business Name Registration Certificate - Certificate issued by the Trade and Industry Office confirming the registered business name.
• Memorandum of Association - Required for partnerships and private limited companies. Must be signed and officially registered.
• Articles of Association - Defines the internal regulations of the company and ownership structure. Applicable to companies only.
• Bank Confirmation Letter - Letter issued by a recognized Ethiopian bank confirming the business account details.
• Proof of Address - Valid house number certificate, lease agreement, or kebele confirmation letter showing the business address.
• Capital Declaration (If Applicable) - Document confirming declared startup capital, required for specific business sectors.
• Payment Receipt - Official receipt confirming payment of the required service fee through approved payment channels.
• Power of Attorney (If Applicable) - Required when the application is submitted by an authorized representative on behalf of the business owner.
