Warka combines multiple data sources to maximize coverage while protecting quality. Sources include official public websites and documents, direct submissions by government offices and businesses, partner-provided datasets, and field verification where necessary. Each source is recorded with provenance metadata so we can trace where a data point came from and how recently it was confirmed.
Update frequency depends on the data type. High-change fields such as phone numbers, office hours, and service steps are prioritized for faster refresh, while stable identity fields such as institutional names and codes are updated when official changes occur. Warka continuously accepts corrections and updates, and we run scheduled verification checks to prevent drift over time.
For verified listings, Warka provides tools for self-service updates with review controls. For unclaimed listings, updates are accepted through submissions and field programs, then validated before publication. In all cases, we track who changed what, when, and why – ensuring auditability.
We publish “Last Updated” timestamps on listings and key static pages so users can judge freshness. When information is incomplete or uncertain, we disclose that clearly rather than guessing.
